My favorite podcasts for the faithful girl
Published on April 23, 2025

In our current technological age, we consume a lot of media. Sometimes it’s intentional, but more often, we absorb it without even realizing it. How many times a day do we check our phones for notifications, only to find ourselves scrolling through social media? Before we know it, ten minutes have passed, and we’ve taken in a flood of content—often without a second thought.

More intentional media consumption
Media isn’t inherently bad—it can even be a good and beautiful thing. But it’s important to approach it with intentionality. When we begin to consume media mindlessly, it can become addictive and pull us away from the life unfolding right in front of us. It can also open the door to unhealthy temptations like comparison, jealousy, and resentment. That’s why it’s essential to be mindful about what we’re consuming and why.
One often-overlooked corner of the media world is podcasts. Many people—especially women—listen to them while cleaning, going for walks, or commuting. But how often do we pause to consider what we’re actually listening to?

How to find great podcasts with content you care about
Unfortunately, many of the popular podcasts marketed to women are filled with language or messages that leave me feeling like I need to cleanse my conscience. On the other hand, while I deeply appreciate faith-based podcasts that offer rich reflections, they can sometimes feel a bit too heavy for everyday listening.
It can be hard to find those in-between options—lighthearted and chatty podcasts that are still rooted in goodness and truth. For the faithful girls out there who want engaging content without compromising their values (and definitely don’t want to be tuning into something like Call Her Daddy), the search can be frustrating.
So, I’ve done the digging for you. Here’s a list of my favorite lighthearted podcasts for the faithful girls—perfect for your daily walk, laundry-folding session, or morning commute.

The Daily Nothings
Courtney Roach and Meghan Day, the hosts of The Daily Nothings, are here to tell you that your daily choices do matter. As converts to the Catholic faith, they have the conviction that all the small things that happen throughout our lives don’t amount to nothing, they amount to eternity.
This witty podcast is made for anyone, no matter their walk in life; Courtney is living the single life and Meghan is married and a mom to little two girls. In their own words: they’re “here to share the fullness of the Gospel in an approachable and contagious way to all of society.” Trust me, they do just that.
Their podcast is “holy, comical, and convicting so that the entire Daily Nothings community can grow together in Sainthood.” Personally, this is my ride or die podcast and I think you should give it a listen.

Made Good
Made Good is hosted by Flo, a nutritional therapy practitioner, Femm instructor, and your personal hype woman. If you follow her on Instagram, she’s rarely seen without a bold lipstick and will have you wanting to wear one too.
In her podcast, Flo combines girl talk with a good dose of wellness, providing everything you need for an educational but fun to listen to podcast.
As a Catholic nutritionist, Flo’s advice won’t just address symptoms or talk about the Pill; she’ll address the feminine body, honoring it in every season of life. She works one-on-one with women through the Made Good program, which accompanies women on a holistic health journey. She has all the experience and anecdotes to make the Made Good podcast one you’ll keep coming back to.

The LOOPcast
If you like politics, news, and a good dose of humor, The LOOPcast is the podcast for you. Three times a week, Erika Ahern, Josh Mercer, and Tom Pogasic break down the current headlines to keep you informed while keeping you from feeling weighed down by the overwhelming flood of news that comes through mainstream media.
Not only are the updates filled with witty remarks that will make you laugh out loud, it’s all grounded in the truth of our Catholic faith.
Join Erika, Josh, and Tom live every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11:00 AM Eastern to participate in the hilarious community discussions in the live chat, or catch up with them on your daily commute. You won’t regret it.

What in the Dang Heck
What in the Dang Heck is hosted by two Catholic best friends who are wives and mothers, so their content is often catered towards women in that walk of life. It’s still applicable and humorous for all!
Listening to this podcast is like “hanging with your bffs, eavesdropping, and a girls’ night all wrapped up into 2 lil’ earbuds!” Megan and Cecilia bring all the humor and none of the political correctness. This podcast is fun, upbeat, and the perfect lighthearted listen.
The Hormone Genius Podcast is excellent for young (and older) women!
I would recommend the C’est La Me podcast as well!
American Catholic History is great if you’re a history buff.
