It’s interesting that all of these questions are very good prompts for reflecting on one’s choices and circumstances. Of course, a good friend is one who challenges us to reflect on how our choices affect our circumstances, and vice versa.
Some of these are wonderful questions to ask at a dinner party, and some are great for one-on-one conversations. Thanks for this terrific list!
I can think of any number of people who are friends or family that I will try to ask some of these questions when we are together. I like peaceful silence, but sometimes, it’s good to get the ball rolling again. In addition, I lead a few groups, and these questions could be good for ice breakers. Thank you.
Your suggestions are good, but what they lack is knowledge and insight. Pray to God and ask Him for understanding because it says in the Bible, if you ask for wisdom, He will give it liberally.
I would disagree with you. I think the suggestions were filled with knowledge and insight concerning what makes we humans tick. What suggestions would you make that would contain more “knowledge and insight.” Seems like a rather unintelligent thing to say in an attempt to make yourself seem superior.
Reading these questions, I realized I live on autopilot and did not realize it.
