$200 (+-) for a swimsuit is quite steep for me

These are nice and we’re moving in the right direction.
Most modest swimwear lacks the fun, pretty, genuinely *youthful* prints and ignores on-point fabric trends of juniors’-aimed swimwear though— which is where modest swim is needed most. Young women are also the most self-conscious about fitting in with trends. I’m sure these appeal to many young Catholics but I’d love to see wider appeal.
Hollister, Victoria’s Secret Pink, American Eagle/Aerie, other mall brands— who makes their fabrics and prints? Can we imitate their colors and interest while producing tankinis and cuter one pieces that don’t scream “matronly”? Just putting this out there.
My solution was always to buy pieces I loved (on sale), and throw a matching cotton spandex cami on top.

And in COLORS, always bright summer colors, so hard to find in modest suits!

These are real nice, mostly, but many still do not give coverage across the backside. Lots of cheek still hanging out, although the models shown are very trim.

SwimOutlet.com, search “conservative swimwear”

Sorry, but most of these suggestions have no modesty for the bikini area. FAIL!

1 piece is completely impractical. How about tankini 2 piece focused on modesty?

I would not consider any of the swimsuits in this article modest for anyone other than very young girls.. Modlily offers modest swimsuits, but the site looks like it may not be American. Older women would like to wear a pretty swim suit without exposing their entire leg and/or cleavage, but they’re almost impossible to find..
