🚨 Top priorities: Safety first

1. Proof of insurance
Keep your proof of insurance on hand so you’re always ready, no matter what.

2. Jumper cables
Batteries have a way of dying when you least expect it. Jumper cables are your instant lifesaver—because you’re not just a road tripper, you’re a problem solver.

3. Tire-changing kit
Flat tires happen to the best of us—so be prepared with a tire-changing kit. You’ll be back on the road in no time and feeling like a DIY pro!

4. First aid kit and/or over-the-counter medication
A little cut or headache shouldn’t ruin your trip. Keep a first aid kit and some OTC meds in your bag for peace of mind while you’re on the road.

5. Emergency contact list
Just in case things go sideways, having a list of emergency contacts will keep you connected and safe.

6. Flashlight
You’ll need this when you find yourself exploring a random dirt road at sunset—or trying to fix something under the hood in the dark.

7. Car manual
Your car’s manual is like its personal guidebook. If you run into a question or issue, having it in your glovebox will keep you informed and in control.

8. Tire gauge
Checking your tire pressure might sound boring, but it’s a quick way to avoid trouble down the road.

9. Water
Whether you’re road-tripping or hiking at your next stop, keep a bottle of water nearby to stay refreshed and energized.

đź’Ľ Essentials for comfort and cleanliness

11. Blanket
When the weather gets chilly or you find yourself in a survival situation, a cozy blanket is your perfect travel companion.

12. Tissues and napkins
Life on the road gets messy. No one wants to be caught wiping their nose on a sleeve or spilling snacks all over the car.

13. Snacks
Whether you’re munching on trail mix or a granola bar, snacks keep you fueled and happy.

14. Gum and/or mints
Fresh breath is a must—especially when you’re stopping to chat or grab a snack.

15. Feminine hygiene products
Because road trips don’t stop for “that time of the month.”

16. Perfume or deodorant
A spritz or two and you’ll feel like you’re in a summer breeze—no matter how long you’ve been on the road.

17. Lip balm
Chapped lips and long drives don’t mix. Keep some lip balm in your bag and give your smile the TLC it deserves.

18. Hair ties
Windy roads and hair in your face? No problem!

19. Sunglasses or a hat
Protect your eyes from the sun and make a fashion statement!

20. Hand warmers
Hand warmers are like a little hug for your hands during those colder moments. Bonus: you can offer them to someone in need!

Whether you’re cruising through city streets or heading out on a weekend adventure, you deserve to feel safe, stylish, and prepared.

I would add to this list a car garbage receptacle!! ESP when constantly doling out snacks to the kids, a place for wrappers is essential
